By now, it's accepted that Fox News falls far short of its "Fair and Balanced" pretentions. Don't think Roger Ailes just woke up one morning and created a right-wing spin machine out of thin air. No -- it takes work, dedication, and a court decision consecrating your right to mislead the public.

Fox Secures the Right To Lie

Roger Ailes is a happy man. His team of lawyers was able to successfully argue for the network's right to lie and distort the news. This needs no further comment.
