Like the forty-hour work week, overtime pay has been an American tradition since it became a the law in 1938. Guess who wants to get that particular piece of Big Government off your back.

Family Time and Workplace Flexibility Act

S.317 more or less speaks for itself. The five Senate sponsors would like to do away with the 40-hour work week by abolishing the federally mandated time-and-a-half compensation for overtime.
